Do I need a climate-controlled space?

Climate-controlled spaces are heated or air-conditioned (depending on the season) in order to maintain a constant humidity and temperature. “Standard” storage spaces (non-climate controlled) gradually heat up or cool down as the seasons change.

Choosing climate-controlled storage is always an individual preference. It is worth considering if you are storing over an extended period of time (across seasons) and if you are storing items sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
